Do you think The Far Shore is the rarest place in the universe? It must be lonely. I mean think about how hard it is to get through the Duat, to have your heart weighed, you've got seven souls to account for, I imagine just about nobody's done it. Imagine such a rare, untouched place

Its fun, but I haven't been here long yet.
I get the feeling a lot of things are possible from here though.

Why are you as a White man concerned with the religious traditions of Egyptians from three thousand years ago

it might be until you realize that these realms are like a vr environment you can chill in with a social construct around it to make it seem spiritual and important.

Yes, I think so. It is a place you have to deserve and earn to enter.

The dust alone must be so ancient, it is unworthy to walk upon it. To unsettle it would be a violation against time itself

Because "The Far Shore" is the Egyptian analogue to the Irish "Tír na nÓg", the Greek "Hyperborea", and the Buddhist "Shambhala". You're essentially visiting the same place, but it's been reskinned and remodelled to adhere to whatever cultural tradition you belong to.

That’s not nearly as peaceful or resonant as it simply being the terminal of the Egyptian soul

Imagine the silence and reverence within the few people in the universe who have been worthy to walk this land. Who would you have to be? What would a soul have to be to be worthy of such a place, and how would they act?

It's a good thing to contemplate for oneself. Since, if you get that moment of "aha" that is it, it marks a good step. This a good post because it beckons: speaking is silver, silence is gold. It's worth meditating on.

For what it’s worth I have, since last night, built these meditations into a fairly comprehensive story outline regarding following the egyptian ‘true’ soul, and exploding his life through forms of flashback as he succeeds in the Duat and enters The Field of Reeds as a person truly worthy of being there. I have thoroughly visualized what this type of person would be, and what they would do, and what form of unique miracle understanding they would have
Do you ever get the feeling that Egyptian Gods are slaves themselves? That slavery is not just a chain around your neck, but an actual unbroken eternal chain of servitude between all things? I thought that was interesting

You have to have an empty mind so that your body thinks its asleep or dead. The elites do it by stopping their heart and pumping oxygen into their blood to keep their organs working.
Most of the time I act bewildered when I'm walking around in that place because I'm new.

Guys that very spiritual of you to say but you haven’t been to The Far Shore. If you had, you would have marred its perfection with your presence. It’s not really a place ‘you’ can ‘be’, so don’t go acting like it’s let you just show up and kick up ancient dust in its sacred geometry

depends. Places can act on your thoughts and if your thoughts are wild it will deform. You live in more than one place at a time so by and large you could do that in some moments of serenity just fine and in others not.

Ive been on a different but similar plane when I had a moment like that but I couldn't stay there without affecting it in a long run and I was needed elsewhere.

when I met Ra one early morning, there was a burst of emotions and vibes that all seemed to weave some sort of story. There were hints of despair from him there too, as if even a deity like Ra could be dying, suffering, lost.

The place won’t deform, it’s the far shore. It’s a place that’s exactly what it’s supposed to be, and it’s the most heavily guarded place in the universe, for specifically only those who are worthy. We must ask ourselves what worthiness means in such a place

Who can tell? He was pretty stable and luminous when around. I also saw Thoth as a sort of asbtract glowing geometry at some point. What is a fallen state then? That they would not be able to execute their duties or answer prayers?

We can look at their histories and roles in the universe and see they are clearly eternal slaves to celestial law
- Ra MUST sail his barque through the 12 gates of the underworld each night or the world ends
- Osiris MUST judge the dead
- Thoth MUST record, cannot rest
- Isis PERPETUALLY searches for Osiris’ fragments
- Ma’at IS the law, he can be no other
- even SET’S CHAOS is ORDER - it is a DESIGNED OFFICE of suffering and alienation
These entities are so tightly bound that I cannot help but see that servility is the greatest truth and virtue in the Egyptian world

But this was all written by people. It's a story. The essence of "real" beings is that they are free to do their own thing, which means they can interrupt and break your expectations. That they will uphold their duties because people expect Anubis to do the weighing and Ra to sail the Du'at aided by Set is one thing, but to then assert that they are so rigid in their ways that they can't do anything else limits one's perspective of them.

If you ever meet a deity and ask them about their favourite colour or they can impart no information upon you which you dont already have they arent manifesting very strongly.

I am discussing the themes and belief systems of Egyptian mythology, and how they might reflect the brutalist slave society it was, and how the requirements of Egyptian Theosis might reflect a way to be at mortal peace within such a society. I’m not trying to manifest Ra.
Furthermore, these gods don’t move. They are slaves do duty and the universe, even if they provide their consent. If Osiris didn’t show up for even one day of his life-in-death, I would say differently
