most alien pics are laughably fake but this one hits the right notes. Hard to explain and it's not strictly because it invokes the uncanny valley effect but because of how well this pic captures their seeming inability to manifest without causing said dissonance. Like the immaterial given material form

Almost all alien pics are too "normal" if that makes sense. Even with portrayals of the greys they never get the small details right.
