Wanted to ask here to see if anyone else had any strange experiences in the Saddleback Valley region of Orange County (Mission Viejo, Santa Margarita, all the way down to San Clemente). I live nearby and would like to see if anyone else had experiences similar.

I don't even really know how to describe the feeling this area gives me at night, since it's not overtly evil or sinister. It really just seems like a normal suburb, especially in the daytime. However, I just can't shake the inkling that something is "wrong" when I drive around here at night, specifically on the East side, nearer to the hills. I know that in the south of Orange county, there's a fair amount of Indian burial sites, as well as former villages. Wasn't able to find a ton of info on how that'd influence the paranormal activity or vibe of the area, but it's something to look into. In my old house in South OC, there were shadows CONSTANTLY. Sitting on my bed, around corners, in hallways, etc. I treated it as normal so it never freaked me out, and it was a long time ago when I was pretty young, so I'd mostly forgotten/stopped caring. But coupled with the vibe from a nearby area, I just don't know.

Maybe it's just that suburbs creep me out, a-la Vivarium. But I've been in many before this, and the feeling is only here. I wish I could be more descriptive, but it's just a vibe that I can't shake. Anyone else have something similar?

I've heard James Bartley referencing those places. Contact him.
