Did anyone else suffer immensely to be saved by Christ? I joined this website in 2016 because I was curious about /r/greentexts. I discovered that /r/green texts was entirely fabricated. I then kept reading about this one anon who was debating Jesus being the Devil. I was originally searching for anime super powers, and I was here during the “Deus Vult” era. It turned me crazy. My salvation was Hell. Does any Christian have a similar experience, or maybe something from the Bible that could give me some perspective about why my salvation burned the insides of my body so badly?

I died in a hospital just before my 33rd birthday.
I prayed for salvation and somehow made it through severe septic shock for almost 24hrs.

Yep. I had a troubled birth, born with OCD, IED and PTSD, i am prone to PTSD so a lot of what i experienced in life added to it, due to pornography i had a very sexual childhood and teen years that also added to my PTSD and ii was constantly betrayed and abused throughout my life by those who should have been on my side, especial adults who would hurt me when i was a kid-teen suffering from my disorders.

Jesus himself said that the path of righteousness, to follow him, would not be easy. We are being attacked by devils.
