If I just suddenly woke up there? I'd freak out, at first, I would assume I was asleep, so then I'd do some reality checks. When they proved I was awake, I would try integrate with the new reality and just hope to fuck that it would end. I have a family of my own, the thought of never seeing them again due to my new reality, would be devastating.

Depends on the circumstances and the reality of what is happening.
If it is possible to choose and tune a healthy body, gain knowledge of the language and the basics of the world order and other important information, well, as it usually happens in isekai - then why not fulfill some small request, if it is not against my principles?
If we consider humanity - millions of such people can be recruited, but if miracles do happen, then I and my friends are somehow unlucky with them.
In general, the word "stuck" makes me laugh, we are the ones who are stuck here - without a good or at least acceptable future for humanity, or rather the authorities and society in countries around the world, except for exploitative labor and dying along the path of enrichment of bastards in power (for example, I am from Russia).
And in a typical fantasy world - civilization and exploitation can of course exist, but because of magical, species (there is no monopoly of one species) and cultural diversity, choice will at least be possible and because of relatively strong external threats, systems built on the oppression of their own will not be able to exist for a long time and stably, and even more so, influence more effective neighbors, who will not see anything wrong with simply... eating them, literally?

There's a lot of perks to being a dungeon lord, depending on the setting your dungeon might count as an instance totally cut from the outside world which means you'd be safe inside even if the world get ended.
There's also the perk of being able to sustain yourself from the energy generated by your dungeon which mean no hard food or water requirement and in some cases potential immortality.
I'm also not dumb enough to think if I get isekai'd I'd suddenly become superman and be able to act and move like superman, better stick to what I'm comfortable with.
And lastly the dungeon core/helper basically depend on you to survive as you do depend on them with a shared soul bond which means life partner and lover.
Of course there's a lot of setting variations on that concept like what is a dungeon to begin with, who rule over them and so on but eh, we talking fantasy, and this is my own, a perverted "get off my lawn" one.
