Not a lot. But im pretty sure its not what middle aged ladies in their yoga studios say it is when talking about their dance moves to "transmute sexual energy"
As little as i know, some of it, is the ritualisation of things like eating flesh and having sex to commune with the energies of the goddess, do it as an offering to the goddess, and diminish our desire to do such acts

What you're referring to is Kaua Tantra, the type that is practiced by the Aghoris. A very small sect of Hindu tantric mystics that seek to collapse the perspective of dualism by experiencing taboo.

Short answer tantra is a form of yoga practiced by the vedic religions. In Buddhism its called vajrayana. Tantra is heavily ritualized and the yoga is aimed at invoking, becoming possessed by, or becoming a godform. They use mantras, yantras, ritual tools, sometimes sacrifice, transcendental meditation, and ecstatic practices to perform it. Tantra has a lot of different schools and practices that span Hinduism and Buddhism and is highly variant but the best way to recognize it is if the practice is ritualized. Western comparisons would be theurgy, shamanic god assumptions/spirit possessions, pagan ecstatic practices.
