To me it feels like time is slowing down dramatically. The days are lasting longer and are punctuated with greater learning and growth.

Because as you get older you start to experience more bullshit. You see more and more bullshit everywhere you go and so since bullshit is more viscous and slippery than the ground, which has more more friction than bullshit, time accelerates as it no longer scrapes against the rough ground as it moves. When you were young, time was slow but now that you’re grown up, piles and piles of bullshit have accumulated and time is sliding faster and faster on and it only gets faster.

Time is relative. The older you get, the faster time moves. If you're 10 years old, 1 year is 10% of your life. If you're 100 years old, 1 year is 1% of your life.

But none of that matters, because you are always in the present.

You eventually reach an age in life where you experience everything a new born child can. Once that cycle is complete, and you get the idea of life and everything on earth, you then put your life into a routine. It could be a everyday job, staying home taking care of kids, retired, spending each day just working on your yard. Everyone finds a routine in life once they get older and imprisons themselves into that routine. This will make time fly by fast. Doing the same shit day after day. The only way to slow down this time that seems to go by fast, is to live each day differently and break free of that routine. But that takes serious money and freedom. I have no doubt anon if you were rich and lived life each day doing something crazy and different, time would slow down. Because even at old age, there is new things to discover beyond your financial, spiritual bubble.
