My critique of Buddhism. Wisdom is more important than righteousness. That's what Buddha said. However, if you in any way neglect righteousness in your spiritual practice, you inevitably fall prey to evil, that's just what I have personally perceived in those following this path. So, Buddha was wrong. Buddha himself was not the most virtuous, because wisdom must be subject to righteousness for righteousness to be fruitful. Everything must be subject to righteousness, except god. Thanks. Happy to hear your thoughts.

Virtuousness is wisdom because of direct and indirect consequences for unrighteous behavior.

Wisdom is more important than righteousness because only wisdom can distinguish between true and false righteousness. How much evil is done in the name of goodness? On the other hand, even an evil person, when blessed with wisdom, will see the futility of defying God.
