I spend an evening in a forest and the next night I had a dream of squashing a tick with a frying pan. The next morning I noticed a tick in my leg, attached yet paralyzed, not having sucked any blood.

Did I encounter the same tick in my dream? What kind of mental activity could an insect (or arachnid or spider) possess? They're alive, but "how much?"

Post insights, stories etc.

(I burned the tick, Rip)

Not sure if it's related, but I had encounter with grasshoppers in my house. The first encounter was when I was, well, not exactly praying, but just thinking about religions in general. Christianity incorporating a lot of traditions from paganism, let's say. The next day I wake up and go to the bathroom. I was brushing my teeth and then took my cup to fill it with water. I didn't look inside it. I then spit out the water with the grasshopper. I was confused and, unfortunately, the little bug drowned in a sink. Didn't have the time to get him out of there unfortunately. Then after a while there was a brown grasshopper, who appeared in my kitchen, just on the floor. This time I just put him in a jar and let him out, but it's as if he was just staring at me afterwards, he didn't hop away.

Yeah, just found these encounters it interesting.
