In Hoodoo, which is a form of folk Christianity technically, they have a principal I adopted that seems chill with God (God loves me a lot, it's ridiculous, might be a prophet even).
Anyway, the principal is "Magic can't work unless God lets it work, therefore if your magic works, God approves."
You know, so long as you're being moral about it and not like blood sacrificing babies or something.

Because "assertion of ones will into the world" which is how many define magic, could basically just be prayer.
I've heard that a lot of the magic forbidden in the bible is either shit like poison making or calling on other gods to do things

Hell is a state of mind. Don't live in fear. That doesn't mean you have a license to live wickedly, but that you have a responsibility to yourself to love yourself and free yourself. You are the light. Talk to your inner light every day. Privately. However feels right to you. Maybe walking. Maybe singing, or dancing, or skipping, or drawing. Whatever it is, do it privately but with no fear of being open (not a secret, just your own business). Get deep into. Get loud, get excited, break a sweat, feel silly! Become the child you were when you played/comforted yourself alone happily in your most private memories. Do it once a day, for 15 minutes, or an hour. Just be faithful.

And when you stumble, the strength is there to forgive yourself, nurse yourself, and keep going on being kind. Balance your heart, your mind, and your body. 3 together become 1. You.
