Ok, talking about "the field".
Did it happend to you that you knew something, but you had no real idea why? Like, you didn't researched it, you didn't read a book, you had not more information about it than John Doe...but somehow you just knew with certainty it was true...and later it was proven that you were right.
Congrats, you probably connected mentally to the field.
Not many can, but some, and it's said that meditation can increase the chances.
Some people, the Satyan (knowers of truth) are permanently connected to the field. I can't even say if that's a blessing or a curse, because it will make your interaction with the "normal" society harder.

This is really interesting. Though it may not be exactly the same when I come across certain things in media, they sometimes ring to me, and I get a sense or a feeling "Theres some truth to this." Recently been playing terranigma lately and have had a lot of moments like that, I think the devs for the game were probably connected to it or something. So many esoterical ideas in that game
