Is it normal to be slightly scared of Nirvana? What if it’s like seeing the Face of God in Orthodoxy where those that look with aversion experience it as Hell? I repeat the mantra to myself: “eternal and not regrettable” when I think about it.

Nirvana doesn't appeal to me, it seems like annihilation but you might also feel nice.

fear only serves to be wary of the unknown, of its potential to harm. I believe it is a uniquely mortal quality since if you transcend a mortal body, the concept of harm becomes obsolete. Hell may only exist for as long as you hold onto mortal concepts, and once you give up your fear then Hell has nothing left to offer you.

What if reality is like groundhogs day, you never die, just keep reincarnating for billions of years.
