We know so much about life but so little about the afterlife. Why is the afterlife, by design, hidden from us?

Once you have a taste for the afterlife regardless of how perfect your living life is, it doesn't satisfy. Knowing the afterlife early in life flattens' a child's ability to grow into a nice character because the child knows as soon as it's slightly uncomfortable we can just die and have nirvana again.
These ideas should be contained only for real life users until their over 40 and if anyone under 40 is experiencing it the assumption is they must be a thief, a junkie, or abused.

The awareness filter is generally limited to the 5 primary senses. Clair senses, I believe, are simply your awareness expanding beyond the body. I reckon you could expand the awareness to beyond that as well, and experience the afterlife
