Several ideas in my mind that I would like to share with fellow seekers.
There is no god. There is only the universe, and souls. The soul itself is not god, nor is anything else god, such as consciousness. Celibacy, asceticism, prayer, meditation (most important), and non-lying are vital to ascend. A liar can never ascend, a non-meditator might possibly ascend through intuitive insight who knows. The universe just is. Just like that. So, we should act with effortlessness as Buddha put it, wu-wei, without striving or force. Just like the universe. The sun doesn't think how it will move, doesn't strive to move faster or slower. It just moves.

What if I told you I ascended in less than a year using only a Bible and while gooning nearly daily and chainsmoking while chugging soder?

The relevant passages are the one about loving your enemies and getting your reward which is perfection and to be a son of God.
That's the beginning of enlightenment.

Nirvana, heaven on earth is easier. You just need to realize that Jesus said heaven is within and comprehend what that means.
Basically, if heaven is within, you're there now.
But how?
Well what's heaven?
Perfect, holy, for dead people.
Perfect and holy cuz God made it and if you disagree with God about the state of the world you're wrong.
So you adjust for that.
Then the dead people thing is just spiritual death and rebirth all Christians do.

The Truth is going to take longer.
Imagine if time and space were one organism, aware of all of it's constituent parts. This is I AM or God.
Now earth was "created" by time and space, could happen no other way.
The Logos or qualia of truth is baked into the pie, from the earliest instance of man, we sought God and found things in nature and ourselves to get these stories of gods and such.
That's why they're so similar all over the world.
But with the Bible you get the best interpretation of God as I AM the Alpha and Omega, God and the Universe were working over time on that one, particularly the Jesus bits.
So that's the truth as I see it, the universe and time is God and it's aware and conscious as are we allowing us to become it's sons by understanding it more and more fully, taking the external world we can't change much of, internalizing it, understanding and appreciating, and resculpting it with our view or reality.

Haven't thought about it this way. I feel simply that god doesn't produce good feelings in me. I see the soul. I believe in the soul, and I see it in everyone. Each soul is a universe of knowledge and passion. This gives me great serenity. However the idea of a soul above me or above all souls just doesn't produce good feelings for me. Not because of anything logical.
