it looks just like an eroded rock to me
this part of the image though is far more interesting. look at the shadow this rock is standing on just a tiny leg

Looks like an edit. The shadow doesn’t seem to match the light source compared to the environment. If the object is highly reflective it should just show a reflection of the sky from this angle.
