I had a dream last night and I remember part of it

I was watching a man maybe myself from his first person point of view
He was very strong and aggressive
This creature here was in front of him floating around in a forest I think
It looked a bit like pic related it was cute
It was polite and nice
He was hitting it and demanding it give him a key
It said something like you realize everyone who will be freed with this key is evil right?
He killed it as it begged him not to

What I remember vividly is when he last hit it and it died I immediately felt such sadness
I felt something like "this world just got darker" "this world just lost like an angel and he or she is never coming back"
It's hard to put into words but it's like it made me further doubt God exists

the problem is that just like in the old world, being nice or an angel isnt enough. You have to be able to bite and stay ontop. That being could have asked for help or anticipated an attack but it didn't. I would argue that whatever being is orchestrating these dreams without your knowledge is a bigger concern. Because even a movie can evoke emotions from you: dreams are no different. How do you ground it in reality?

Might be a metaphor for brutally murdering your inner child just to fit into society. Just a thought.

the real sad thing is that people tend to presume that either of the two werent in their right. Very nasty things used to happen on the ethereal planes, mostly perpetrated by very politically correct shits with nice faces and outer shine. Their innocent sides might stick to a moral path which would lead to their death anyway, either at the hands of others or their own higher or lower selves. Some spirits also believe their way is the only way and they are quick to brand things outside of their bubble as evil. They'll snare parts of your consciousness for no reason and see no evil because they are blind to the consequences of their actions on the living, specially when they are not grounded or confronted in reality.
