>>40761925I'd suggest reading "The Vengeful Djinn: Unveiling the Hidden Agenda of Genies" by Rosemary Ellen Guiley and Philip J. Imbrogno it's a bit dated and offer a lot of religious viewpoints but it's a treasure trove of grounded information and a good way to get started.
Every region got their own lore regarding these entities be it Djinn or Oni or Fay or Demons or Ghosts etc and places that are known to be seriously haunted probably house a hidden portal to their dimension.
You have high probability to also find one if you visit your nearest cave or abandoned home and you could try bringing a small offering like cooked meat or a fruit and leave it there after repeating the local entity name three times and meditating a bit or even burn a paper with your wish written.
Avoid taking anything from there, avoid throwing anything while in there, avoid being disrespectful and noisy while there, they are quick to anger.
If you're good looking they might kidnap you on the spot.
If an animal or anybody show up, check if they have a shadow, if not, it's one of them checking you up in physical form.
Avoid new age bullshit like the qliphoth, the ars goetia, the jung psychonauts, the chakra system etc they are noob traps and the specialty of snake oil salesmen, true occultism is found in old lineages of closed practice that will never go public all around the globe that look more like palo mayombe with real risk of death than hippie wicca.
Granted I'm not an expert but that's the very best advice I can give you for a real physical experience rather than make believe, there's tales of spirits being as physical as you and me all around the world going on even today like a man married to a female djinn and having her cook food in the house with a kid it's just that they are very secretive, very temperamental, very dangerous, very trickster and won't show up unless there's a very good reason, not for nothing that most religions across the world are about protection from them.
