>>40758784To add to my post, after re-reading the entirety of your friend's facebook post, let me point out what I think is most telling about his condition.
- Belief that a dark entity is following him
This is pretty typical schizo talk, something or someone is always aware of them and following them, and has negative intentions for them.
This is a pretty standard delusion to have.
- This entity can cause delusions and makes him feel like he is going crazy
The unfortunate news is he actually was going crazy. He had moments of lucidity where he was able to recognize this but they did not last long enough / he was not sufficiently lucid for him to rationalize the situation and get real help.
This is usually how paranoid schizophrenia sets in, moments of lucidity are lost and you begin to feel like something is wrong with you. At this point you should seek help.
- feeling like he had shifted to a location where he was the only person left in the world
This is a pretty typical detachment from reality. The cycle of paranoia results in the patient believing they are the only one with the correct truth in the world. Sometimes they entirely detach and lose their sense of community / feel like they are entirely alone on the planet.
- Belief that a physical parasite has entered his body after kneeling
This is along the lines of the "bugs under my skin" thing that results in a lot of schizo suicides. Something has unknowingly taken their body or possessed them and they are no longer themselves.
- Belief that he unknowingly sold his soul and he is no longer his own
Same as the point above about the parasite, just that now something internal has taken control.
The second half of the post:
This is a pretty typical schizo rant that you will see on less moderated conspiracy forums. Its basically an information dump about the entire belief system.
