Any /x/ reason why I always think the "deepest/clearest" about my life or about anything? It's like your thoughts start having order and fog you didn't know was there disappears

been told "its the veil thinning"

the vibration of the water and the noise may be activating the same part of the awake/asleep similar to how the gateway xperience works.

happens to me every time too. thoughts so clear that it sometimes feels like another is talking through me or possibly for me.

Op here, it seems not the "clearest" cuz i forgot to add "... when I'm in the shower" at the end...
now on topic:
it is definitely the water but I wonder if the stream of it gives a different effect as opposed to let's say swimming in a lake or just staying still in a pond or bathtub or whatever. the temperature of it may be another factor for different effects too, another kind of energy? idk
it also makes you feel your shoulders lighter and not just by the relaxation of your muscles but like you had something else carrying around and it's now gone

>its the veil thinning
interesting. I have heard this before
>the vibration of the water
you mean the vibration of the water itself or the vibration it has/receives by being stream down in your shower
>and the noise
yes big part of it too. I think the crickets or whatever animals you hear making noise at night is like healing for your body bc they are making a sound/vibration aligned with nature. it's so pleasent I believe you actually sleep the best when you hear a lot of them in the background, same with sleeping in a rainy day/night. now the debate would be, can this effect be replicated by using technology? like playing on YouTube a video of a waterfall or rain in the background? that's debatable
>thoughts so clear that it sometimes feels like another is talking through me or possibly for me.
yes. it's one of those moments that you feel "this is the real me". sadly (or luckily who knows lol) is not permanent. one should maximize the usefulness you can get from those moments, maybe by thinking out loud and recording yourself to have that saved for later

the vibrations of the water, like when you sleep near the ocean and can hear the waves.

perhaps, for me, i have a rainfall showerhead that pumps out tons of water in addition to a wand. if i use just the wand, nothing. something about the rate and noise, my shower is also glass doored and tile walled, so maybe the echoes are just right.

When you pour water on you (water acts as an analog to the void) you essentially create the swirling conditions to alter your mental state. You are using the void to throw yourself into the chaos to allow transformation.
If you need more info of the idea, look up the Shinto water ritual.

Bumping because Apu using Head&Shoulders made me smile.

Cool thread. The vibrations, both sonic and tactile likely have something to do with it. And, it might be a subconscious appreciation of both Nature’s gif of rain, and of Technology (anyone who has been to Burning Man returns to regular civilization thinking showers are the best invention ever).
