Does watching horror movies, playing horror games, listening to painful music, researching occult and reading about real crimes invite bad entities and bad luck? Or is it safe to morbidly browse these sort of things?

Someone told me this can cause invisible contracts that give permission to fuck up your life.

I'm not particularly paranormal-believing, but I think that stuff can affect you psychologically.
I must be a light-minded person. Even sleep paralysis entities have felt benevolent to me. I figure they would be darker if I consumed a lot of media that made my brain feel the world was overwhelmingly evil.
