So yeah in 2025 AD they actually let you inherit other peoples' memories as your own

That's what you think, but there will be severe repercussions for doing anything of the sort or cooperating with the usurpers who are the primary beneficiaries and creators of such arrangements or methods. They're violating intentionally in order to avoid future judgment and have been doing so for probably over 3000 years.
All memories people who say they're born with from "past lives" or memories they think are from other people? They're inherited from either a soul or it's imprinted upon them recursively by an entity. Both methods of which can be tampered ever which way in order to give fake identities or create agents of theirs to affect change in different ways, or simply experiments; Aka artificial memories. Even souls themselves can most likely be created artificially of a fashion or method I wouldn't know much about, most likely geomancy or vril leeching using a receptacle.
