Question at those who consider themselves seekers and have intense desire for Enlightenment. What does an enlightened sage feel and act like? I have made strong advances, and many many people with big ego have started to really get angry, here on /x. Lots of bad comments which in the past were there but not that frequently as now. So, an enlightened sage must necessarily have many enemies. The Shiva rahasya says truth has many enemies. (And yes, I'm expecting equal amounts of seethe from this thread as well.) Another thing I've noticed is there is extreme grief which I haven't felt this strongly in the past. Comment on that as well please. God bless, may truth be ever victorious. Pic related, it is said the holy virgin Mary felt intense grief even though she was enlightened.

Give up learning, and put an end to your troubles.

The true end result of enlightenment is blissful happiness and oneness with God every day forever.
Necessarily, the path to this is not easy.
Demons are not stupid and can sense their end coming, and they'll do everything they can to push against your progress.

The way to push forward and overcome this is to realise that all the pain and the fear the Demons inflict upon you is illusory, for they are the masters of deceit.
Another thing that presents difficulty is the worry you feel when you see others being deceived by the Demons. You might feel that one person escaping from this isn't enough to save everyone, and you're letting everybody else down by not reaching out to help them.
But ultimately you sin in thinking this, because you believe that everyone will look at you for salvation, instead of looking into themself or looking to God.

In increasing your faith, and following your destiny, you do more for yourself and more for others than you would do in any direct action.

at the physical level it engages the top down endocrine master control mechanism
when the endocrine system is running well, you just get good boosts of goodness like that

enlightenment is not really a well defined word, for there's quite a few levels to it all
and it all begins with being able to manifest the spiritual light for yourself

Well you already failed by saying things that are not true, considering the Gita is not in a Purana. Nor is the Gita a Vaishnavas text, as both Saivite and Shakti and Smartas accept it as authoritative. Nor does Krishna lie in it, though I have no interest in trying to convince you of that as it is obvious to anyone who read it themselves instead of just accepting what others tell them.
I also don't think you read the upanishads, considering that would be thousands of texts, and the main ones which you probably badly skimmed ALSO give the symptoms of the enlightened.

So, if you have read any of the Upanishads, you should be able to cite answers to Arjuna's question.

I don't follow the Hindu religion, and never did in my life. I feel a little interest and I do read the upanishads, and the shiva rahasya. Both condemn lying in all situations. There is a huge range of spiritual consciousness between the state of a normal human, and that of an enlightened sage.
I'd imagine that perhaps the sage has some level of absolute peace in the face of all the chaos and evil in the universe, but the journey to reach that place is full of peril and strife.

I don't really browse this board anymore but I've been doing it this last month because of a peer's influence (we met here) and it's incredible how this board changed for the worse. The people that brought good discussion converted to lurkers or simply vanished away. What remained for the most part are incredibly toxic goblins with insane egos and great desire to stain or demoralize any serious discussion whatsoever. They feel offended at the notion that someone may know more than them and then they sperg in the worst way possible. And let's not talk about the influx of political goblins that are already at the absolute dead end of complete brainwashing and only think in terms of race or political side.

I advise everyone to keep your mental in check at these trying times and not fall on the abyss where some are already in. One should learn to trust one's own heart.
