What does a bear symbolize? For the last 10 years I have been dreaming of bears. Almost on a weakly basis. Till this day I still Do not understand it. What is the archetypal bear? Usually grizzly bears appear near the end of a dream, I am scarred of them, they either attack me and I wake up or i simply wake up after they appear (out of fear). I am not scarred of bear in real life, I see them in the same category as lions and tigers etc. Sometimes they take different forms. Few years ago I dreamed i broke a glass bear statue, then mama bear came and murdered my family while I hid. I usually have very lucid and vivid dreams. Ik they represent predators, but if it was that simple this motif wouldn't be reoccurring.

You've convinced yourself subconsciously that you are prey. The real question isn't about bears, its analyzing yourself and asking "What makes me feel like prey?" And "Have I done something that I would hunt someone else for?" Then figuring out if its all in your head.
