Yes, and they are pretty annoying.
But they serve a purpose. You dont want to talk about gnosis with a fag. And since you dont know who is a fag and who isnt, you stop talking about it with anyone, thus enforcing the rule of silence in gnosticism.
Once the fad passes, no one will talk about it anymore, only the initiated, in very close circles.

I think its a bit of a good thing it's popular right now, even if it is just a fad. People with a real interest and have intelligence will go beyond just the base levels of understanding instead of using it to justify their pre-existing beliefs.
