Likely demonic - the same demons mentioned in the Holy Bible. "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world" (Revelation 12:9)
If so, they will be highly intellgent too, much smarter than humans, and will likely try to deceive us and want us to think they are alien / interdemensional / live underground. The giveaway will be their utter hatred of God / Jesus.
Unironically, we need the Holy Spirit - the Spirit of Truth - to discern; we should all be praying to receive it, in the name of Jesus Christ, Son of God and King of Kings, Lord of Lords.
