i encountered my favourite author who was no doubt the smartest person i have ever seen or heard of. when looking through his books, i found one on magic. tried one exercise and it was immediately effective. that's when i knew.

I have a brother and an uncle who work with magic. I'm going to assume they are good enough since they are able to live doing only that. Come to think about it, I guess all my family has some inclination to it. My mother used to dream of dead people or angels warning her about dangers, and she managed to avoid them. My father once in a while used to dream with numbers, and when he bet in small games, he won. I naturally was inclined to it as well. I remember that when I was a teenager, I learned superficially the rules of Tarot and used the deck of cards as tarot cards and consulted them when I needed to know the outcome of some decision or event, and it always predicted it right. I stopped doing it because I noticed I was giving some entities a free pass to influence future decisions. And because I saw really bad things happening with some members of my family who dealt with it.
I also lerned that Sorcerers that operate in this field are unlikely to get terrible omens directly at them, as they are always directed to their family or clientele.

This is the lie being constantly perpetuated on earth for a reason, because when you truly repent and actually seek deep into what the faith is really about, from an outsiders perspective (not mine) it basically points to the ultimate and authority in all existence. And when you dig real deep, that power may potentially seek to make its dwelling in you. And that power cannot be challenged by anything else.

So this is why there's so much hate against the faith and so many attempts at trying to discredit it, because the evil of this world knows it cannot directly challenge it, so the only way it can get a perceived victory over God (hypothetically, of course) is by playing this stupid fucking game of trying to turn everyone on earth away from Him so that God has no one to work through.

It's fucking stupid, I know. But that's literally what's happening here on earth.
