I watch Why Files casually, it's kinda entertaining. But recently I watched his Rogan appearance and something about it rubbed me the wrong way. He just seems like he's pandering to his audience (or a certain portion of it). I get the impression he resents his audience and looks down on them. The fish is making fun of you. Iirc he started out trying to be a heckin science guy ala V Sauce but those videos went nowhere so when the conspiracy stuff took off that became his thing. I pop in and out but so much of his content now seems low effort, literally AI generated scripts and visuals. And the Rogan interview had a stink to it. Talking about how he is conservative, respects the troops, hates the vax but gubmint bad (but don't be mean to Israel).

I'm not saying he's CIA like some people do, just a very cynical media guy who got big in a way he didn't expect and he's going with it. So for entertainment it's fun but I don't think he's out guy

Honestly, those things irk me. He's entertaining and all that but I get the feeling he's a total fake humble narcissist. Also I hate how much he started to rely on AI. He toned it down a bit recently but the vids where he tries to tell a fake story and use AI art for the visuals are almost unwatchable.
