You’d think they’d be all over the place.

Why isn't there a horror movie with that theme yet? I mean, it sounds like a pretty cool idea...

Natural lifestyles made them find a way to the happy hunting grounds, no need for haunting.

We basically never hear of ghosts older than the 17th century. This makes me wonder how long can ghosts hang around and how they disappear.
I always heard that there were very few humans back then though, way less than a hundred thousand on the whole planet, so the total number of dead cave people must be nothing compared to the number of dead people who lived later.

>pretty cool horror movie idea
I'm still waiting for Alien vs Dinosaurs vs Predator.

It's because they've reincarnated.

They all reincarnated into Aboriginal people.

Maybe ghosts cease to linger when the last person who remembers them also dies. Perhaps there's a generational maximum for how long a ghost can stick around before they have to ship off to heaven/hell or their next reincarnation. Who knows.

neanderthals weren't even our same species goes the science. if you look into esoterics you'll find it was the creation of 'fallen angels'.. Guess who fucked on them and admixed w/ them the most and where they were most concentrated? in the levant cave systems where jews claim their origin.

https://phys.org/news/2024-12-neanderthal-human-interbreeding-years-reveals.html

Pro-tip.. A fallen creatures creation doesn't have a soul and thus can't haunt. The bible warned about mixing w/ this shit regarding bitter waters that turn to worm wood 'dead sea'/'euphrates' etc. It's why all of the crazies are along it.

Ghosts die after a while.
Human bodies breakdown and you die.
You don't think your spirit/ghost doesn't breakdown with time?

After hundreds of thousands of years of wandering the earth I would assume their souls eventually figured it out. Technically (at least according to Christians) they’re all in hell since they presumably didn’t know about god. Maybe they were pro to-Buddhist.

there were actually not many cavemen at all. in paleolithic europe the population from the atlantic to the urals was never more than like 100k. iirc at the glacial maximum the population of western europe never exceeded around 4000 people.
