>>40828450Plot is about a girl and her dad visiting some rich people (basically elites/corporation owners), and on the way there they hit a unicorn crossing the road. The girl touches it's horn as it's injured and it immediately gives her an intense cosmic vision of something beautiful before her dad tries to kill it. Later they realized the blood and more importantly it's horn can heal any illness, and the elite rich people immediately take advantage of it (real elites probably do this with whatever actual powerful healing things we have like this IRL).
The unicorns have a bond with the girl also, and she can feel their pain when the horn is cut off at one point. Also inhaling the dust ground from a horn gives you intense visions, as one of the rich characters does later. "Alchemical" is a term I remember the main rich guy use when describing the potential of the unicorns power too.
Basically: movie implies that a lot of old legends and myths are probably real and we're the ones who are wrong, and it also accurately showcases the horrible powers that be as they are, exploiting innocent beings for eternal life. Also the MC girl actually mentions that unicorns are used as symbols to represent Christ, also shown to be due to their resurrection abilities they exhibit in the final scenes. Also the ending subtly implies the unicorns (and humans) are "from" another realm entirely, and the visions mentioned before were them showing her that. Very cool stuff in this thriller-horror movie on the surface.
