It's great honestly, never had a bad trip with shrooms, though did with acid before I tried shrooms. But my experience varies from what I have read on the internet that had more frightful experiences than with cid. I think it really depends on you. For me it was life changing in a good way and had the funniest conversations with myself on them and profound realizations.

My advice to people curious is to just grow ur own. You will be spending lots of time mentally preparing and connecting with the mush as you cultivate them.

Then, since you grow ur own, supply should be a non-issue. One grow makes way more than any one person should be consuming in basically a lifetime. Youll find friends who want some, dont worry.

The main reason IMO having a big supply is nice is because then you can try smaller doses and work up to a larger dose rather than feeling like you have to take them all or something and ‘waste’ it.

I just do Shrooms in a dark/quiet room, most of the time at night in bed, then I ritually transform (via meditation) myself intro a dragon or a bear, sometimes a wolf, then I Trip based on that animalistic feeling, I let the inner beast take over me, I see/feel myself killing and fucking like a beast. Shrooms are awesome. When I first tripped shrooms I felt so connected with the universe. I realized that I am the universe. And so are you. We (all living creatures on earth) are some of the living versions of the universe observing itself. I also realized that all living creatures on earth's main goal is to reproduce or die. Eventually earth will be uninhabitable and we the living will need to colonize the galaxy.

I am a strong believer in the stoned ape theory. We are also closer related to mushrooms than mushrooms are to plants.

After a couple trips, I further realized that religion and the big bang are total bogus since matter cannot be created or destroyed.

There was never a beginning and there is never an end. The big bang is the end of a previous universe. Stars create elements and black holes create energy. Instead of heat death there will only be heat. The universe infinitely recycles. But how do we exist? It’s like being a fish who only ever notices water. I 100% advice buying the substrate pre sterilized. I buy sterilized jars from Midwest Grow Kits (again i dont suggest buying a whole kit tons of cheep china shit u dont need). I will say that some of the jars arrive broken but it works good enough for me and If I complained theyd probably send me a few more.

The hardest part is sterilizing the substrate, 100%.

Another opinion I have formed through my own experience is that for inoculating the jars all you need is an oven. If someone is interested ill explain the oven method for creating laminar flow.

I have NEVER had contamination issues using this method and like i said before the first time I did this in an absolutely filthy apartment infested with mold and i had no contamination issues with my jars.

People who try to build their own ‘still air’ chambers or sterile environments have such an outrageously high fail rate and it looks like so much effort for a really bad success rate.

I swear by the oven method but rarely hear people mention it….

I encourage anyone who is interested in growing psilocybin mushrooms to look into growing the Psilocybe Subtropicalis mushroom. They do not require any fancy techniques, they can be grown in below field capacity coir and don't need a casing layer (though it does help).

Psilocybe Substropicalis is by far the strongest and most alien mushroom I have ever tripped on. I took 3 grams of FRESH aborts (0.3 grams if dried) and had a borderline paranormal experience. The visuals were some of the most intense and intricate DMT like visuals I have experienced and it wasn't even the centerpiece of the trip. I had full blown entity contact in my room, it was more than a sensed presence. During the trip, entities would walk on the bed I was laying on and I would feel my bed sink as they moved. There was an incident where a midget like creature took hold of my foot and dragged me off my bed, I lost control of myself as it pulled me off the bed and on to my floor. Actual ghostly activity.

Subtrops are to cubes like how cubes are to weed, they are an order of magnitude crazier.

So I decided a few months ago to grow my own mushrooms, I followed the shoebox tek method and grew golden teachers. I had two trips which I will detail.
1. The first trip I took three mushrooms, cap and stem, sliced them in through them on pizza. Ate them while I was watching 1776 the musical (love that film) And became very emotionally involved by the end of it. Naturally, the mushrooms elevated my emotional state, and I felt as though I could understand more than what I could visually perceive. After the film my sat in my backyard and stared at the stars for awhile, marveling at the universe. I messaged my mom and told her that I loved her, and that I had a new appreciation for life. It was 3:00 in the morning when I messaged her, so she had figured that I was on drugs and started going off about how I was throwing my life away. Weird Juxtaposition considering I felt as though I was feeling a revelation that life isn't all miserable, while being told that I'm throwing my life away. By the end of the trip, about 7:00 in the morning, I felt very happy with life. I didn't judge my mom. I somehow knew that she wasn't meant to understand. To be clear, I don't do drugs. The last time I had mushrooms prior to this was 2 years ago, and the mushrooms helped push me to throw away All the rest of the mushrooms I grew, and all of my marijuana paraphernalia so that I could not be so deeply attached to anything that would trap my energies. 2. A few days later I was grabbing something from the mini fridge next to my desk, and saw that I had left a ziplock bag containing five golden teachers in the little fridge. I had thrown the rest away after the first trip, and was about to throw these away but something told me that I should take them. I attempted meditations, and contemplated various things I've read about consciousness. Contemplated Chakras, Kabbalistic Tree of Life ascensions ala ceremonial magick (though all internal this time rather than performing the rituals externally) other various bits that I cannot recall in the moment, but very much so focused on going within and ascending from what's inside this vessel.
These mushrooms were stronger. Not only as it was a higher dose, but it felt as that they were of much stronger potency given their time to mature and let's say marinate in cooler conditions. (The first trip I consumed the mushrooms same day I harvested)
I felt I strayed out of thought and time. I didn't prepare myself for what I might see, my intent was merely to discover all that I could within. In doing so I felt I lost my consciousness. It didn't leave my body per se, and I knew throughout that I was not going to die, but consciously I felt as though I was experiencing a type of death. I was able to perceive so much more than what I could see in this perceived physical existence. 1/?

What I experienced is the most complex concept that I could ever have seen firsthand. I didn't even see it per se, it was as if I was walking in a dream that I had dreamed before. I highly recommend to everyone to try shrooms at least once in their life if they haven't. It's not something, I believe, that can be done often. I haven't done microdosing, I believe that's just an excuse to do drugs more often. What really stamped it for me was at one point during my second trip I had to go use the restroom, when I exited the restroom I could hear the TV playing a movie in my grandma's room. The voice from the TV asked "are you okay?" To which I nodded my head in response and I thought, and I kid you. Not the next voice that came from the TV said exactly what I thought, it said "of course I'm okay." You don't get more damning proof than that, to me, this is all a simulation and a game.

I'm a 5g or more fag that has done it twice, once with Envies and once with a grow from a friend who is a mycologist. Took 5.6 on the second go around and it was gnarly. I know the envies well, they are extremely potent. 2 g's of those is heavier than an eighth of normie cubes. Oven method of inoculation:

Turn oven on lowest setting. Have one of the oven racks on the lowest part of the oven and pull it out some. Inoculate ur jars on the lower rack.

The heat from the oven creates laminar flow up and away from the inoculation area.

There's a big ol hiking ground out innadesert where I live and I've always been drawn to this one landmark, a mountain with a big ol cave running through it that lets you get a good view at the park and the city surrounding it. Naturally it's frequented by normies and hylics during the day, so I like to run around there from midnight till sunrise before all those pricks show up. It's my go-to spot for tripping whenever I get ahold of psilocybin. I ingested 8 grams of it while roaming the park one night, started towards it and started to finally come up on it when I made it there. It's pretty nuts how much more receptive to light it makes your eyes, it was a full moon that night and I swear I remember being able to see everything like it was a cloudy early morning. I spent the whole night just chilling there and self-reflecting on things to put my clinical depression back in check, works wonders for me, when eventually I got some sort of vision. It's kind of hard to describe it, I wasn't hallucinating directly, but my mind was intensely visualizing what appeared to be some Native American guy a number of centuries ago, who appeared to hang around the place all the time with how relaxed and easy-going his posture was. He had a sort of impish grin on his face and a mischievous temperament, but still radiated positive and caring energy, and as my mind visualized his presence, he welcomed me. It certainly felt like some kind of visitation, like his energy was bound to the place.

Shrooms convinced me I’m living in my own head in a false reality, in my “real life” one of several things happened, I’m not sure which. The major ones are I'm either moments away from death during a drug fuelled rampage and time is infinitely slowing from my perspective as the the moment of death approaches, and I’ve created this false reality to cope with what my family will think of me after this.

The second is I’ve done something horrific, and I’m currently medicated and strapped up somewhere and I’ve regressed into the false reality to cope with that, or possibly I’m reliving my life until the point of death or that horrific event.
