I'll share a dream as you have.
I'm walking on a floating island at a high altitude above the clouds. It's moderately temperate with rivers that waterfall to the ground below. It's one of many that orbit the main body.
As I walk along the mountainous terrain, I encounter a group of twelve that's in the middle of fighting a metallic grey, geometric cube-shaped being with multiple red eyes shielded behind armored, transparent lens. These twelve individuals in the group have immense destructive superpowers of varying types, but nothing penetrates its impervious shell.
The cube-being begins to fire directed energy beams from its many eyes, making short work of many of the dozen. Wherever it misses, entire sections of land become cut free where the beams fire. The power it has is hard to comprehend. The group starts focusing on the largest eye to attack. The lens shatters.
Through sheer dumb luck, the remainder of this group realize that the only way to defeat this thing is to gang up on an individual eye per facet. With each lens shattered and eye shot out, the being shrinks exponentially. They cannot manage to destroy this cubic being though, only render it inert enough to be harmless.
When the fighting is over, less than half remain intact. A young man with sharp features and blonde hair hands me the creature and tells me that I can have it for myself. He's just pawning off their problem of to me. Looking at it, I think it looks somewhat cute. It's also very affectionate and seems to really like being held.
Staring into its few remaining eyes, I witness the battle in its own perspective. It really enjoyed the fighting and found it to be a leisurely spar, a stark contrast to the horrifying battle of attrition that the adventuring party had in comparison. It did not suffer any pain at all. I find its perspective horrifying, but understand it's not human.
