Back in 2016, when trump got elected i noticed an inconsistency in reality:
>I won a specific Starbucks instant coffee pack at a fighting game tournament my friend was hosting
>I came 2nd (he won lol) and he worked at Starbucks at the time and was being a condescending prick about my loss, so instead of giving me the entire box of the instant coffee packs (which was the main prize), he gave me ONE pack
>whatever lol ill drink it for some special occasion
>US 2016 election comes around a few weeks later and i decide to relax in my room and watch it unfold
>decide now is a good time to drink the coffee pack I won
>distinctly remember it tasting like shit, it was a peppermint drink and I dont really like peppermint either way
>night progresses as we all know, Trump wins much to the meltdown of people in my circle
>next day i go back to the snack cupboard where I keep all my snacks, including where I had kept the coffee packet the day prior
>coffee pack has respawned
>wtf.jpg I drank this yesterday
>I look in the bin and the wrapper was gone
>I start freaking out, ignore that it even happened for a few days. Eventually I drank it again after a few days and it tasted exactly how I remembered the first time
What in the actual fuck happened here? Did somebody influence or change reality in 2016? Im pretty sure I drank that packet that night and im pretty sure I only ever had one. Both those events were very memorable to me. I lived with my parents at the time and both of them dont drink coffee and my dad is an anti Starbucks hippie and prefers to support local businesses in any regard. The feeling i had when I saw the respawned/second packet made me want to puke too. I felt a sense of dread and that "something was wrong".
I also felt a sense of dread during his assassination attempt and the day after he was elected. I am not anti trump or leftie in any way to have the election outcome itself make me feel this way. Anything similar happen to anybody here?
