You don't need an initiation unless you are joining some kind of mystery tradition.

I got into esoteric stuff and read a bunch of books and shit and started experiencing schizo synchronicities and then I was playing with one of those wave projecting lamps in my room like an autista and took a selfie and the lights formed a perfect pyramid on my forehead in the resulting picture so I figure I'm initiated now.
Also I felt some insane shit happening around me when I woke up the day Trump was shot at. Like the flapping of wings of an entire flight of birds around or near me. And I knew I'd see some crazy shit that day.
