What is the point of having free will if you are going to forsake it at the slightest inconvenience? Prayers are answered, but most of the time people don't recognize the signs or do not put in the work to make their prayers come true. There are also rules to prayer, so certain request can be denied. Imposing on the free will of others is forbidden. However, after praying one should always keep and open mind. A "random" thought or occurrence/inconvenience can often be one of the first steps to answering a prayer (Think Power of suggestion/Law of Assumption).

If you're praying to Jesus you're praying to the wrong stuff, others help to answer those prayers but doing it wrong slows it down. You can help, wish that their efforts would work better, but stipulations can sometimes be interpreted as insults; we know you want it in the name of your God, but we're going to be over here giving the credit to another God or Gods and other beings, so it's handy to agree to disagree sometimes.
If you're praying for protection from devilish influence while you do these things that helps.
We need to arrange loosh so occult efforts are not so divided by people's stipulations.
