How is it that normies believe that Osama did 9/11 and there was no foul play, but when gov officials say aliens are real nobody believes them? Is this some remnant of MK Ultra?

No, it's based on a very simple idea. Osama doing 9/11 may be wrong but it's very compatible with reality as most people experience it. Aliens being real yet somehow leaving no real evidence of their existence is hard.for people whose brains actually work to swallow. The fact that you can't empathize with these people shows your brain is entirely rotten, and that even if you are right you will never concince anyone of anything.

The reason normies believe the Osama lie and not aliens is that it's not what they believe is the consensus. Govt officials say stuff all the time that's immediately rejected by the consensus. So just because there's a report on aliens doesn't mean anything. They need to see their talk show hosts talking about it repeatedly to know that it's now part of the consensus. Until that happens it doesn't exist for them.
