What's the link between spiritual wisdom and obesity? Famously you have figures like the "budai" buddha, Aquinas, Ganesh, but also picrel, plus fortune tellers are typically portrayed as being very fat, as were ancient oracles, who some theorise actively worked to become such a size. Is it because obesity is necessary to some form of enlightenment different to say, that experienced by the Gautama Buddha or St Francis (famously thin)? Does obesity in the right person allow for a greater spiritual or non-temporal connection?

There is no such relationship and you should lose weight anon.

For european spiritual teachers, it generally means they were part of the wealthy educated class, meaning they got fat from lack of physical labor.

For obese deities, ussually the fatness refers to abundance and luxury.

Time travel, quantum leaps, extended stays in the ethereal space of all connections, as well as intense séances, orgies, and even mundane channeling, cause an insane thirst for highly concentrated chocolate drinks and spaghetti with tomatoe sauce.

Guenon was a spiteful, catatonic schizo with nothing of importance to contribute.

Being rotund is a common trait in charlatans that have done nothing with their lives and have no talent in anything, so woowoo is their last train to feel some sort of special.

>>41301198 You've definitely never read any of her works. She has nothing to do with the New Age movement. I wonder who originated this braindead narrative.

Helena Blavatsky is considered a foundational figure of the New Age movement due to her role in co-founding the Theosophical Society in 1875, which was instrumental in introducing her idiot misunderstanding of eastern spiritual ideas to the West. Her writings, such as Isis Unveiled and The Secret Doctrine, synthesized plagiarism Western esotericism with Eastern religions, promoted the idea of an ancient, hidden "Wisdom" tradition underlying all faiths, and influenced the development of many subsequent spiritual and occult philosophies that shaped the modern New Age movement.
