So, since the universe isn't empty, there never could have been a period of "nothingness". There was no "big bang", furthermore the very nature of the quantum/æther existing means that the entropy we observe in this dimension isn't the rule that winds us all down into that "heat-death" they predict either. The Universe was and always will be. Hannes Alfven was correct.
