Let's get metaphysical!
>feel like shit for weeks
How does it "feel" to be shit? I think if I was shit, I would fear being pooped out. The rectum is the doorway out of the warm, wet, dark confines of the bowels that birthed and nurtured me. To be expelled into the dry, cold void would mean death.
>can have more 5-6 hours of sleep for days
Sleep is influenced by digestion. When the body is stressed, it uses more nutrients, which creates more waste, which must be expelled from the body.
>realize I haven't taken a shower in 2 weeks and I stink
Pooping is one way for waste to get out, but so is sweat. Unlike poop, sweat forms outside the body, allowing foreign filth to accumulate on the skin and if the skin is cut then the filth may infect the body.
>take shower
To take is to make the other a part of the self, but to shower is remove waste, making part of the self a part of the other.
Showering sacrifices a part to preserve the whole, much like pooping.
>feel completely energized and have a great sleep
Waste and filth stress the whole, threatening to tear it apart and bring death to the whole.
>was is just coincidence, mental health stuff;
There is nothing coincidental about mental health. Every sensation must be accounted for, and waste must be identified, separated, and expelled in order to preserve the whole person.
>or does taking a shower have actual metaphysical implications?
Showering expels waste in order to preserve the whole body, and the body is the most critical part of the self because it defines the physical self from the physical other. When you don't shower, you are metaphysically keeping waste as part of the self. Why? What makes you so attached to the waste? Perhaps you are uncertain about how to define your self in comparison to the other. Perhaps the cycle of living in waste and then expelling the waste is the only way for you to feel whole.
