Same as Victoria. She was propped up by men. The reason why women are even in line to thrones is to avoid the problems caused when there's no direct male heir which weakens the state.

Let's face it, women in politics are never a good idea. As modern culture has shown, young women have a strong tendency to vote for the left. Most young women are liberals and progressives, so if women would actully direct politics, we would all end up with communist regimes (or even nightmare states ruled by witchcraft and demon worshipping). The only way to keep systems of democracy and reasonable conservativism is to keep women out of the political process. (They're just not made for it, they somehow lack the intellectual skills. They have other qualities, they can support men and raise children, so they should focus on that.)

Actually this is a recurrent point/joke on /tv/ and /pol/ about that show Survivor, they tried to make Men vs Women editions and had to stop because all of them went to shit insanely fast. The guys always bond and did well while the women did nothing but fight and cry, like one week into the competition most women where simply lying in the mud crying all day while the men made BBQ and wood carving. They released some piglets into the women camp so they could kill and eat but instead they adopted the little pigs like pets. They had to sent a few of the men (two or four iirc) to help the women and they endup doing every possible chore for the women. It was hilarious.
