You will never be an archon. But certain realms work much like corporations do, it's why heaven and hell are so hierarchal. You can work with and serve any god including Yaldabaoth but the perks are more geared toward your lifetimes and your duties, they call it "contracts" for a reason. At that point your soul's at their behest. It sounds quite negative and can be, but the process is the same should you wish to serve other beneficent spirits or even the Creator Above All. And truly why is that not your first question? The souls who do this are our Joans of Arc, our Oracles of Delphi, and even our Jesuses.

You don't have to ignore the value of souls, spirits, minds and hearts. It is not matter that determines the number of your supporters, minions, but their souls, their spirits, minds, and hearts.
