Age Is such a weird a scary concept.
Like, it's how people identity and get controlled by it.
It's scary as fuck if you think about it.
I tell people how old I am, and they freak out. they can't like - they just like what?

Im almost 30 and my friend had such a shocked and negative reaction to learning this. It makes no difference on my appearance or personality at all so why act that way? I know what you mean OP, birthdays may also be an aging ritual of sorts too... Especially that awful birthday song chanting
