I am relatively new to skateboarding and someone gave me a board recently. Just the board, no trucks, no wheels. What are some good entry level trucks/wheels for me to buy? Or if you think I should go beyond entry level into "very good" level what should I get?

It's not "as good as the other stuff" but it's not absolute complete garbage and for a beginner it's fine.

If you don't quick within the year, upgrade to independent trucks and spitfire wheels. No other real answer or options IMO

Thanks I will go with Independent/Spitfire. I'm not "that new" I've been doing it for a few months on a borrowed board. I like it enough that I'm not going to quit, I just wanted to buy something durable and reasonable that wasnt going to break on the first ride but didn't need top tier products

Indy/Spitfire is a solid choice. Thunders are not bad either. I'm an Indy main myself

There's a surprisingly large market for used trucks. Check your ebays and facebooks.
