>>1014718 (OP)I just finished the Maxon zbrush free trial and good riddance to that trash software. $50 a month for the worst interface I've ever seen in a 3D software.
Everything I could do in zbrush I can do in Blender. With the Blender 4.5 Vulcan update I scan sculpt on 10 or 20 million poly meshes with ease, so performance isn't a problem. I was easily able to replicate the Trim Smooth Border brush from zbrush with the new Trim brush in Blender 4.4 just by adding a soft square brush alpha and tweaking some settings.
There are a few mask settings missing and a few brushes missing, but it's definitely good enough for 99% of projects and saves you $50 a month. Plus blender lets you bounce between traditional modeling and sculpting with ease.
Blender is a religion because we've been trained to eat garbage slop products for subscriptions by companies that haven't improved on the tech they bought and gate kept 10 years ago.
