Is it time to consider blender a religion or a cult?

Blender is not a cult, nor a religion. Blender is a open source software with a large community that helps develop the 3D application further and keep it free for everyone to use and create art. Even haters like you are free to use it.

Imagine this guy is not a psyop. Imagine he is actually this butthurt. What a sad life it must be, to spend every day to constantly shit on a software with no breaks.

But I get it ... If I had spends years in educational institutions and lost a fortune for school and software subscriptions to then completely fail as an artists, I'd be insanely furious after discovering that there is a free software and supportive community too

But how many developers worked on Max and how many on Blender in the 90s? How many today? And don't forget about the financing of both ... Blender certainly had a much harder time staying relevant amongst other giants. It's fascinating how far a OpenSource software has come.

I just finished the Maxon zbrush free trial and good riddance to that trash software. $50 a month for the worst interface I've ever seen in a 3D software.

Everything I could do in zbrush I can do in Blender. With the Blender 4.5 Vulcan update I scan sculpt on 10 or 20 million poly meshes with ease, so performance isn't a problem. I was easily able to replicate the Trim Smooth Border brush from zbrush with the new Trim brush in Blender 4.4 just by adding a soft square brush alpha and tweaking some settings.

There are a few mask settings missing and a few brushes missing, but it's definitely good enough for 99% of projects and saves you $50 a month. Plus blender lets you bounce between traditional modeling and sculpting with ease.

Blender is a religion because we've been trained to eat garbage slop products for subscriptions by companies that haven't improved on the tech they bought and gate kept 10 years ago.

Blender only got bigger when AUTODESK products got shittier (the dreaded Pajeetification outsourcing probably, kind of the same as with Windows). Add to this the hated subscription BS.
But Blunder got it's own problems financially and technically it can only barely keep up with payware addons.

Blender never got bigger, during early years it had FBX missing and when added it was not real or compatibility with other software. Blender rigging during early years was awful, fuck you newfag and your fancy rigging machine plugin, you still canโ€™t have playable Unity without some sort of plugin that Unity had to build. Another example during these 10 years was Blender lacking lights, you think something so basic from other platforms was added to Blender but nope, STILL NO LIGHTS that do basic things. So STFU newfag you donโ€™t have any saying in this conversation.

Because blendlets are in fact low IQ. It's the absolute bare minimum to know that simplistic software, but anything more is too complicated for them. Zbrush is the best sculpting software to exist in today's times and nothing comes close to it in terms of features and perfomance. It handles meshes over 100 million polygons.

Blender

Ui suck and is not intuitive
Uv map missing tools
Rigging doesn't make sence
Simulation and render suck and crash even with the most powerfull pc
Modeling it can't stand big scenes it crash
Community is a religious cult of toxicity and a buch of bewannabes hobbyst who doesn't now how modeling and 3d works.

Cinema 4d is what blender look like when the team behind it put effort behind the software it works it has almost the same ui but works.

Blender problem is not money is the people and community behind it are retarded is a fact.
