Mmhmm a tip i learned for animation is "everything should be moving" not one joint in your hierarchy should be still during an animation. A human sitting in a chair, writing on a desk, their whole body is shifting weight every time they pick up their arm or move their head.
Something really complex like intercourse, everything's going to be moving a lot. Your bag of bones is like a delicately balanced pile of crap. Everytime you balance shifts it has to form a new stack. Your slune, pelvis, legs all of to change angle so you don't fall over.
