There really isn't a girlfriend design that's bad, or even below average. It's very hard to choose favorites since they're all really damn good and memorable in their own way.
Really, the only two that stand out to me in terms of "blandness" (using that term VERY loosely) are Nano and Hakari, and even then they have design language that makes them very recognizable even without colors. Nano with her very long, flowing hair and the lack of the glints in her eyes most of the time, and Hakari with her short, flower-speckled hair and her fucking insane baby factory hips and thighs.
