What's so good about it? I dropped it when it aired because it looked like it was going to be farming sadness in the shallowest way in an attempt to look deep.

Because it's actually not that good. The first episode was a 10/10 then it dropped like a rock. I blame it on the Shonen rating which limits what you can do with this sort of immortal character. Should have been a Seinen. The guy should have been seeing the worse of humanity with grotesque visuals. But no, it was all just limp dicked for a better lack of word. And seeing the opinions of the later arc especially modern one, it really becomes boring.

I watched the first 2 arcs, about getting you invested in some cute characters so you can get sad when they die at the end, and noticed the 3rd arc was doing the same thing so I dropped it.
