I did the fence last, if that's what you mean. Everything behind it was drawn normally, with the chainlink filled in once I was more or less okay with how it all looked.
As for other spots like his left leg/foot, it mostly just boils down to working with the smallest brushes, zoomed way in. Lots of tweaks and doublework, it was pretty tedious.

Honestly not a bad idea lol, I'll keep that in mind. And yeah I don't really draw at all outside these threads. I'm the type that needs a deadline to finish things. If I did it would probably be mostly gondolas, easily one of my favorite contemporary art movements.

Thats a big part of it, yeah. I'm prone to finding surreality romantic (the biggest reason I love gondolas) so just calling it surreal might just be more accurate. What young pups these days call "liminal" is what I absolutely love. I admittedly wasn't in the best place when I first saw her show, but her attitude and demeanor is really upbeat and enthusiastic so it had an effect on me. I wanted to be better because of her and was able to get out of neetdom because of it. Went to college, have my own place, got a nice job, have my own car, and doing pretty alright now. It's great that these places are finally being documented and appreciated; before they would've fallen to the wrecking ball with hardly a photo left behind. But like you said earlier, there's been a lot of trash content born out of it and it can sometimes be hard to separate the two. And much obliged! I always appreciate it. can't really explain it well, but it just feels like each line is so strategically placed to minimize line numbers in total while maximizing appeal they bring to the table
it feels like those 12 episode 10-minutes shorts anime that ends up way better watch than it has its rights to be, but in drawing form

Complaining and crying about technology should have ended by the 90s, why is it still happening? Just accept that AI is a thing and it's here to stay. People were scared of GIMP and Photoshop too back in the day, because they were "easy mode". It's the same with AI. A better AI artist will deliver a better AI art.
