I decided to start and catch up on this show because the threads made it look like such a fun show. I'm on episode 7 and I've cried thrice. It's really beautiful how sometimes it just doesn't work out and that's okay. Life goes on. I also love how imperfect the girls are.

This show is fucking awesome.

Like, they take this stereotypical genki girl, and the catch seems to be that Azu finds her annoying at first but they end up getting along, and thatʼs it, but they actually use her personality to point out how some people struggle to make friends both because that personality and because of past experiences (in this case, Yuinaʼs best friend prior to this being her late grandpa).

It seems so simple and almost obvious in hindsight, but you donʼt get such a well writen genki very often.

When Chocoʼs story unfolded I was surprised with how well it managed to both explain her silly attitude most of the time while giving her a sad background, but I was skeptical about Yuina. I didnʼt exoected them to deliver a good story for her, and they shut my mouth.

Truly the hidden gem of the season… and the whole year, probably.

And of course, this all adds up to why her main conflict in this last episodes revolves around the possibility of losing her friends, who are the most valuable thing she has at the moment.

And of course, that applies to everyone else to some degree, but since Yuina is pretty much the heart of the team, it hits harder to look at her in this situation.

I get fat at least once a year from overeating and drinking but I just exercise and eat nothing but veggies for a month or two until I've lost lile 15 lbs and can repeat the cycle. Fatzu just needs to git good.
