Do you actually miss cels themselves, or do you just miss the colors/shading/grain/texture that came with everything being painted by hand?

I miss the fact that no one is going to get the joke "This? This is an arm, drawn by nobody. It is worth nothing!"

Cel can be replicated perfectly with digital art but it's harder and way more expensive than the shitty simplistic art used nowadays.

NTA but theoretically you could simulate cels in like Blender or some shit. Not sure how practical that is though.
