It's interesting that unlike someone like Cure Nyammy that shows up in the "gray hero" role, Meroron appears in a completely different role, but plot development puts her in a vaguely similar role of Cure Nyammy, which is an interesting twist by itself, a character that starts cute despite having some red flags, and the red flags become a real problem later on.

Both Yuki and Meroron come across as possessive, but for Yuki it genuinely seemed like she wanted to protect Mayu, for Meroron it has more of a nasty edge to it, at least with the information we currently have... It could very well be intentional, you aren't supposed to agree with Meroron.

I have some doubts about cutting footage like that, because the transformation starts with a jingle which evolves into the song.
The transformation BGM is synched to the actual stock footage (thing happens > music hypes it up in perfect sync).
So basically, they would need to cut the starting fragment of the song, which isn't impossible, but seems like it would have less "antecipation" if they did it?

It's a subtle detail, but maybe could imply that they want to have the segment with the fairy transformation every time, which could have some implications for the plot too.
Then again, maybe they could start cutting it in the team transformation because the BGM is simply different, at that point they're going to just select fragments from the transformation rather than needing it to sync to a BGM.

I'm surprised yurifags aren't constantly fawning over episodes like this. Akira and Yukari are getting shipped hard with that old lady. I feel so old enjoying the romance of it all.

The Shop is doing amazing. Customers are streaming on through and Ichika gives thanks all to the cool Akira and the beautiful Yukari. But not everything is swell, as Ichika needs a new dessert for the upcoming festival. Ichika's idea is for a lovely fruit tart inspired by the fan favorite duo Aki-Yuka. Aoi, Himari, and Ichika attempt to make a tart base, while Akira and Yukari are off to shop for fruits. AkiYuka manage to find no fruit, while back at the shop, the Kigurumi fan clubs attack! While Akira and Yukari take turns suffering each other's whims, the other three are pelted with criticals hits to their friendship of the older girls. Once the fan clubs leave, the younger girls find out they have to redo the tart. The fanclubs find Akira and Yukari resting after Akira has saved an old woman's wedding ring. Dragging the older girls off, the fanclubs express their disapproval. At the shop girls are sure the older two will return when the MoTW attack and take the younger Cures for the worst Merry Go Round. Having rejected the fanclubs, Macaron and Chocolate return to save the girls in a spectacular display of choreography. Before the younger cures can thank the older, the older two take off again, apologizing they hadn't found the fruits yet. Akira pulls Yukari to the next town, and Yukari grips Akira's hand harder once she realizes Akira's plan. On returning to the shop, Akira and Yukari present grapes, blue berries, and strawberries. Ichika combines them all and cuts slices out of the new tart for the fanclubs' approvals. Also an evil figure awaits the coming festival, AND NO MORE LESSONS ALLOWED.
